About Dr. Stacey
Dr. Adam Stacey is a Registered Doctoral Psychologist in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. He holds a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland's CPA-accredited Clinical Psychology program. Adam completed his pre-doctoral internship at the University of New Brunswick and earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Applied Psychology from Acadia University. He also holds the Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, allowing him to assess and communicate psychological diagnoses to clients.
From 2017 to 2024, Adam served as an Assistant Professor and Director of the University of Saskatchewan Psychology Clinic, where he played a key role in training future psychologists within the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. His research focuses on professional burnout and wellness, particularly among frontline service providers such as nurses, physicians, and veterinarians. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and delivered numerous workshops and presentations on these topics. Adam currently holds adjunct professor appointments at the University of Saskatchewan, the University of Guelph, and the University of Prince Edward Island.
Dr. Stacey is deeply committed to community engagement and has volunteered with organizations such as the United Way, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, OUTSaskatoon, and Quint.
He provides psychological services to clients across the lifespan and offers clinical supervision and consultation to provisionally registered psychologists and select Ph.D. candidates.
