How it all began.

City Psychology began as a co-operative endeavour between two of Saskatoon’s talented and queer Psychologists - Erica Kovach and Dr. Adam Stacey. They met in early 2021 while Erica was looking for a supervisor to assist in their registration as a Psychologist. At the time, Erica was counselling at a local private practice, and Adam was an Assistant Professor and Director at the University of Saskatchewan Psychology Clinic. The duo hit it off, and quickly realized their compatibility in values, personal identities, and desire to provide exceptional psychological care. Both were impressed by the other’s ethics, clinical judgment, application of theory, and general openness to the nuance of the human experience. Their supervisory relationship concluded in April 2023 and in the spring of 2024, Erica proposed a reunion - working together in a private practice of their own, at City Psychology.
